The votes are in: Meet the winners of Readymag Websites of the Year 2024
Explore outstanding web design and discover the key elements that set the best apart.
For the 11th year in a row, we hosted a competition to highlight the best websites made with Readymag. This year we received around 300 submissions, and the jury team narrowed them down to 20 nominees. The final choice was made by public voting—and you picked the boldest, most artistic, and modern websites. Here are the five best designs of the year and the winner of a brand-new category—Studio of the Year.
1st place winner: Aziiata Septel’s portfolio
Aziiata's works are vibrant, angular, metaphorical, and diverse, set against a stark white background—much like her home, the Republic of Tuva, nestled in the chill of Siberia. Through her art, she delves into the colonial past and present of her people, exploring the theme through photography, graphic and object design.
2nd place winners: Now.Here Studio website, 69 Pixels Studio website
The Now.Here studio grabbed attention with its lively, interactive website that kicks off with a brief intro about the team. From there, it’s straight to the projects. A slideshow of previews takes center stage, with tiny thumbnails lined up in the header. Bold, colorful, and eye-catching—if something grabs your interest, you can click to see what’s hidden behind the image.
69pixels takes a more business-focused approach. Right on the first screen, we’re introduced to the studio’s key partners—big names that have entrusted their design to 69pixels. What follows is a fast-paced, dynamic visual showcase of projects. There’s also a dedicated page for the team, complete with an Instagram-style feed and fun personal details about each member—a thoughtful, human touch.
3rd place winners: Baran Ceylan’s portfolio, Non-Objective studio website
Baran Ceylan’s portfolio is like a sprawling gallery of his work as a designer and art director. You can stroll through the page, taking in the covers and previews like pieces in an exhibition. But if curiosity pulls you in, step deeper—each project opens up to reveal a world of other works that spark inspiration.
Non-Objective studio claims to invent a conceptual visual language—and the website proves it right away. It unfolds as a long, immersive visual narrative. The studio refuses to be boxed into one field, working across cultural, educational, social, and media projects. You can see this versatility in the endless-feeling gallery, where each project adds a new layer to their story.
Studio of the Year: Non-Objective
This year, we also introduced a new category—Studio of the Year. It’s our way of highlighting a design team that’s been consistently creating outstanding projects with Readymag.
After reviewing all the nominees, our team singled out Non-Objective as a bold and fearless creative force worthy of the spotlight.
