Who to follow on Instagram — Vol. 1

This is a monthly compilation of Readymag’s 10 favourite Instagram accounts of creative people and communities, whose lifestyle and sources of inspiration are consonant with our conception of aesthetics.

1. Eike König

Eike König is the founder and creative director of HORT — one of the world’s most innovative graphic design studios and a playground for creatives. Outtakes from the studio’s portfolio, works in progress, and lots of other inspiring stuff, that celebrates creativity and workflow.

2. Cinq Fruits

Cinq Fruits is a brainchild of French studio Le Creative Sweatshop. The project is all about art and finding inspiration in everything within the reach of hand. Using jelly, concrete, paint and laser lights, they create incredible still life compositions, which has made them the rock stars of Tumblr and one of the most original galleries on Instagram.

3. Eloisa Iturbe’s Studio

Instagram account of Eloisa Iturbe’s Studio is a mixture of pastel collages, everyday abstracts, and 3D sculptures. A sort of color therapy, evoking the attention to details around.

4. Map

Map is a visual mapping community celebrating people and their journeys. The project strives to connect all points on the world’s map with only one tag #finditliveit, and share the amazing adventures of trailblazers from all around the globe. Great travel destinations source to follow.

5. Santtu Mustonen


Santtu Mustonen describes his style as a weird clash of everything — paint, 3D, animation and digital illustration. His work is inspired by natural science and monotonous movement. The latest work of the artist is the design for this year’s Academy Awards ceremony.

6. Hey studio

Hey is a graphic design studio based in Barcelona, who are being great at editorial design, brand identity and illustration. The studio’s Instagram is an ode to their love for geometry, color and direct typography, featuring Hey’s latest projects, fun office routine and fascinating behind the scenes.

7. Csilla Klenyánszki


Works by Hungarian artist Csilla Klenyanszki involve by their ingenuity. The artist’s Instagram account, where she keeps her ideas and sketches, infuses with the desire to explore the environment, common objects and processes around; watch yourself in the course of observation, and be in constant development.

8. Ligature

A photo posted by @ligature_ch on is a Switzerland-based online publication for design and culture, and a series of stories about the best of visual creatives. The illustrations from the interviews will supplement your Instagram feed with the best examples of contemporary graphic design and typography.

9. Display

Display is a collection of important modern, mid 20th-century graphic design books, periodicals and ephemera. An exceptional set of original items for educational, historical and scholarly analysis, and a great source of cover design inspiration.

10. Bonsoir Paris

Paris-based creative studio and design lab working on intersections of design, image-making, and technology. Their portfolio is full of nonstandard conceptual projects, which balance between art and design, striving to fade the creative limits: COS concept store, Printed Pages cover shot, Hermes window display and more. A must to follow.
